A friend of mine got this for my girl every bit a baby gift for my beginning granddaughter. It is an ambrosial lath book about a trivial girl (age iv to six) who goes on a sleepover to Grandma's firm with the mission of amusing, entertaining and 'babysitting' her grandma. (They do bear considerable watching after all, don't they, these grandmas?!)Grandma and granddaughter have all sorts of fun, going to the park, dressing up as twins and by and large turning everything into a creative game, something petty girls are EXTREMELY good at! 😉 Sadly I had to return the book, so I guess I volition have to get my ain re-create if I want to be ready when my piddling darling gets old enough to babysit me. Subsequently all, I want to be a well-behaved grandma and able to do all the things the one in the volume can do!

As a grandmother takes intendance of her granddaughter with affection, in this story the granddaughter fabricated her efforts to babysit her grandmother. I believe that this book would be appealing to young children also as, grandparents. The illustrations portray accurate environments such as visiting a park, acting out the role of shoe seller, and decorating food at the dinner table. The illustrations are not exquisite, simply are plenty to deliver the cute relationship between the grandmother and the granddaughter. I wonder what would happen if the protagonist of the story were a boy.

I really enjoyed this book and I call back it would accept been a great book to read to a child like me. I have an identical twin that I am very close with. And so when we would get to my Grandma'south house all I wanted to do was play with her rather than my Grandma. I wish now that I had non done that, because going to Grandma's house can exist so fun!
I recall it assembly so much excitement with going to a child's Grandparents' house. Which is so not bad for both children and their Grandparents. I would recommend this book to young children who are very attached to their parents. This book helps show that information technology can be fun to have a nighttime away from Mom and Dad.
